5S breakdown labels to support your 5S workplace organisation
The 5S breakdown labels or repair labels are used in the implementation of 5S workplace organisation. The breakdown label hangs on equipment which could become a potential breakdown source in the future. This could be a loose electrical cable or a worn bearing, for example. On the breakdown label it is possible to indicate what the exact defect is, what the solution is and what kind of priority it has. Besides that, the corresponding SAP or order number can be stated on the card so that it is easy to determine the status of a repair.
The breakdown labels are duplicated and come with carbonless paper. The first page of the breakdown label (80 g/m² paper) is placed onto the 5S board or shown in the technical department. The copy of the breakdown label (170 g/m²) is hung on the equipment, mounted with a cable tie through the hole at the top. The breakdown label has dimensions of 10x15 cm and fits into an A6 brochure holder (see related products for further information).
